Thought I’d start a thread on tools and equipment.
Whether you’re just starting out or have been doing repairs for a while - what are you using?
Here’s what I’m currently working with:
• Precision screwdriver set
• Soldering iron + basic solder
• Hot air rework station
• Isopropyl alcohol (for cleaning)
• Tweezers & pry tools
• Heat-resistant mat
• Multimeter
Nothing crazy, just building it up as I go.
Always looking to improve the setup, so interested to hear what others are using - especially anything that’s made a big difference to your workflow.
